ARCHER2 Image and Video Competition 2023 Results


Thank you to everyone who submitted images and videos to this year’s competition. The outstanding range of entries once again made judging a most enjoyable experience with so many great demonstrations of the important work being done using ARCHER2 .

We are pleased to announce the winners as follows:

Winning Image and Overall Winner: Max Winokan, University of Surrey, Quantum Biology DTC with their image “Modelling proton tunnelling in DNA replication “.

Winning Video: Dr Eric Breard, School of Geoscience, University of Edinburghwith their video “Mirroring a Pyroclastic Flow Experiment using Large-Eddy Simulation”.

Winning Early Career Researcher entry : Carlos Edgar Lopez Barrera, Queen Mary University of London, SEMS with their video “Silico model for assessing individual responses to irregular heart rhythm treatments”.
